Population 2 is a short film about a young woman who is abandoned in the wake of the apocalypse.
Every day, Lilith wanders the remains of civilization, scavenging what she can from the deserted refuse
of what was once a bustling city. Every night, she returns to her home underneath the dead city and
contemplates the past that has left her alone.

The short film focuses on Lilith and Simon’s relationship and the circumstances that changed their
relationship in the face of the apocalypse. The film prompts one to explore the themes of loss and
loneliness, as well as to show the consequences of the choices we make and don’t make… along with
those we are never given.

This is the first sequence in a six sequence series that will make up a feature film. Some roles are reoccurring.

CASTING: We need to fill to 3 roles for our next shoot. -1. Male, 50’s+,CEO business type, commanding presence, reoccurring role, -2. Female, 25+, leader of a liberal activist group,aggressive,possible reoccurring role -3 Female,30+,Doctor with a sensitive demeanor —Auditions by appointment only Tuesday, March 30 through April 2. Shoot dates: sometime between April 26-May 5.
